I was doing so good at updating regularly! I've been meaning to post since March 3rd, our 2nd wedding anniversary, when my husband surprised me with the most beautiful bouquet of calla lillies (our wedding flower) that I have EVER seen!! I was waiting because I was going to upload a picture of them. Then I only had a picture from my phone. Now I can't figure out how to get to my online album with Verizon. But trust me they were GORGEOUS and amazing!!!
Then I was going to post about our 3-D ultrasound we had on March 4, but I didn't want to do that until I'd done the anniversary one and you see how it goes. I think everyone who reads this has see the ultrasound pics of our handsome little man! He is just so CUTE I cannot wait to meet him!!! They're all on facebook if you haven't seen them.
Then I finished making three more bow holders for friends and Kaleb and I got Kamden's letters done for his room as well! And the changer came in and that's all put together. It's looking so cozy!!
Last night I redid Ella's letters for her room and OH my goodness I will finish them tonight so that I can upload pictures. They are the cutest things I've ever done!!! I did them in frames and I'm just super pleased with how good they look!! I'm not trying to sound conceited or anything...I spent hours on them, though, and I am proud of them!
I had a doctor appointment yesterday which went well, I have a hair appointment today and church tonight, I'm taking the evening OFF tomorrow and doing some artsy stuff for the hostesses for my shower in Many this weekend, then Friday it's off to Many for said shower! I am SO excited about it and about seeing everyone on Saturday!! AND we're getting Ella on Saturday so she'll be able to come to the shower AND NEXT WEEK IS MY SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!! I am literally counting down the hours until Friday at 1. Literally. I am in desperate need of a break from this place!!
I need to talk about American Idol. I love Danny, Anoop, and Allison. I hate Adam. And I also really don't like the blind guy. I'm sorry, but at what point do we stop voting for him because he's blind?? He's not that good!! Can we talk about Adam last night? Wowwww. I'll be honest with you, as creepy as it was, he kind of reminded me of Jimmy Gnecco when he went into that primal wail thing and although I cannot STAND the guy or the arrangement he used, I was kind of impressed at what he did with it. I woke up singing it at least 3 or 4 times as I groggily made my 50 trips to the restroom. But I still can't stand him and thought the performance was overindulgent. I want to like Michael Sarver, and I'm sure he's a great guy, but his performance last night just was not good. I'm sorry. It wasn't. And that cute little tatted up girl...it's like she's kind of got a sound that doesn't belong in pop music at all, and I should like that, but she falls on her face every time for me. She looked amazing last night, though.

I agree about the tatted-up girl. I want to like her, but I just don't like her sound--or the dance moves. I think Michael is a great guy and he can sing, but I think he would be best suited as a Christian singer, which is not going to happen on AI. Danny is good, but I kind of feel like he oversings sometimes, and I think there's a lot of hype surrounding him. He's definitely the front-runner so far, but I kind of think Kris or Allison could be more talented than he is. ????I don't know. I really think it's time for the blind guy and the tat girl to go. Oh yeah, they said that Adam's version of "Ring of Fire" was a Jeff Buckley arrangement. Is that true??? I thought of you when they said that and hoped you didn't cuss your TV too loudly.
